Adurt Brook Enhancement Project

This project involved the replacement of two collapsed culverts.  The deteriorated culverts were replaced with new ones to allow fish to migrate more freely providing access to approximately 7 km of upstream habitat. The new culverts will also improve the flow of water which is currently backing up during freshets, causing road washouts, stream bank erosion and increased sedimentation. Headwalls were constructed around the new culverts to help mitigate these issues from future re-occurence..

Project Term: July 2016-December 2016
