C-W-T Community Garden Compost Station

Composting of waste and diverting it to a productive use was the main goal of this project. Implementing composting required awareness and education and workshops were held for practical demonstration to show its usefulness and productivity. Gardening was our main focus on how to make composting productive, as compost will be made available to the public at no charge. One of our four directions in this project was to encourage both family gardening and utilization of the Centreville-Wareham-Trinity community garden as this will help to enhance food security.

Project Term: March 1, 2016-February 28, 2017
